Motorola Edge 2022: Launched with Dimensity 1050, promises to provide updates for four years.
Motorola has launched its new flagship Motorola Edge 2022. Motorola Edge 2022 is currently launched in the US and Canada. The first model of Motorola Edge was launched last year with Snapdragon 778G processor. At the same time, the new phone i.e. Motorola Edge 2022 has been introduced with MediaTek Dimensity 1050 processor and 8 GB RAM. Motorola Edge 2022 will get Android 12 along with the company’s My UX operating system. Motorola has said that this phone will get software updates for three years and security updates every two months for four years.

The price of Motorola Edge 2022 is $ 499.99 i.e. around Rs 40,000. The sale of this phone is going to start soon in the US in black color. The phone will also be made available in Canada soon, although there is no news of its launch in the Indian market at the moment.

Motorola Edge 2022 has a 6.6-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. The aspect ratio of the display is 20: 9 and with it there is support for HDR10 +. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Motorola Edge 2022 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1050 processor, Android 12, and 256GB of storage with 8GB of RAM.

Motorola Edge 2022 has got an IP52 rating for water resistant. It has dual stereo speakers and three microphones. This phone has mmWave and sub-6GHz 5G connectivity. Apart from this, 5000mAh battery has been provided in the phone with Bluetooth v5.2 and NFC support. Motorola Edge 2022 supports 30W TurboPower wire charging and also supports 15W wireless charging. The total weight of the phone is 170 grams.
