Apple launches AirPods Pro 3, will get health sensors including heart rate tracking

American devices maker Apple has launched the AirPods Pro 3 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earphones along with the iPhone 17 series at its ‘Awe Dropping’ event. It has a better and faster H3 chip. The design has been improved for better fit in these earbuds and its charging case also has a different design. The company’s second-generation ultra-wideband (UWB) chip will allow the location of the earbud to be detected more accurately with the Find My app. The company has also introduced Apple Watch Series 11, Watch Ultra 3 and Watch SE.

The price of these TWS earphones is $249 (about Rs 22,000). They will be sold from September 19. AirPods Pro 3 has been made available in white color. Pre-orders for these earphones have started.

The company’s AirPods Pro 3 has a new H3 chip. This gives the user support for personalized spatial audio and Dolby Atmos that can be customized with head tracking. These have pressure-sensitive stem controls and Apple’s custom high-excursion drivers for better sound quality. These earphones have health sensors like heart rate and temperature tracking. This will make it easier for users who pay more attention to fitness to monitor health along with listening to music. AirPods Pro 3 has Bluetooth 6 connectivity with AAC codec for studio-like quality audio experience.

The second-generation ultra-wideband chip in these earphones will allow tracking with more accuracy from Apple’s Find My app. The built-in speaker makes it easy to find the earphones through a sound if they are lost. They support Adaptive ANC with a transparency mode. They also have a live translation feature, which will allow real-time language translation during conversation. The new ergonomic design of these earphones fits better and more conveniently on different shapes and sizes of ears. They come with a small and sleek charging case, in which the position of the status light has been changed to better show the charging status and battery level. Each earbud of AirPods Pro 3 offers up to eight hours of playback per charge. Its battery can last up to 40 hours with the charging case. This charging case supports USB Type-C charging, MagSafe and reverse charging from iPhone 17 Pro models.
