Realme Watch 5 Launched in India: Budget Smartwatch with Bluetooth Calling and 108 Sports Modes Launched, Know the Price
Realme has expanded its smartwatch lineup in India with the launch of the new Realme Watch 5, which the company unveiled alongside the Realme P4x 5G smartphone. This watch is being manufactured in India under the Make in India initiative in partnership with Optiemus Electronics. The Watch 5 features a 1.97-inch AMOLED display with 600 nits of brightness and 2D flat glass protection. The watch comes with an aluminum-alloy crown, a metal unibody design, and a 3D-Wave strap. It supports HD Bluetooth calling, NFC, Always-On Display, and over 300 watch faces.
In terms of price, the Realme Watch 5 is priced at Rs 4,499, while its introductory price is Rs 3,999. It will be available in Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, Mint Blue, and Vibrant Orange color options. The first sale will begin on December 10th at 12 PM on realme.com, Flipkart, and offline retail channels.
Speaking of specifications, the Realme Watch 5 features a 1.97-inch AMOLED display that supports 600 nits of brightness. It includes features such as NFC, HD Bluetooth calling, and 300+ watch faces. The watch has an independent GPS that works with 5 GNSS systems. It offers 108 sports modes, guided workouts, and stretching tools, with data synced through the realme Link app. The company has also included extra software utilities such as music control, Game Guardian mode, compass, and a personal coach.
The Watch 5 includes sleep monitoring, SpO2, heart rate tracking, menstrual management, stress monitoring, and three types of breathing training. The watch comes with an IP68 rating and has passed realme’s 4 Extreme Quality Tests, designed to check durability under various conditions.
The Realme Watch 5 claims to offer up to 16 days of battery life, while in Light Mode it can last up to 20 days, which may vary depending on settings and usage patterns.
