Honor Play 60A Launched in Budget Segment with 5300mAh Battery and Large Display
Honor has launched its new budget smartphone, the Honor Play 60A, in China. This phone targets users who want a large display, 5G connectivity, and long battery life at an affordable price. The Honor Play 60A features a slim design and a lightweight body. The phone includes a 6.75-inch display, Android 15-based UI, and a 5,300mAh battery. For performance, it is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, while basic photography is handled by a 13MP rear camera.
The Honor Play 60A is priced at 1,599 yuan in China for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, which is approximately ₹25,500 in Indian currency. The phone is available in Lake Blue, Azure Sky, and Inky Black Rock color options. Sales have already begun in China, although there is no information yet regarding its availability in India or other markets.
The Honor Play 60A features a 6.75-inch TFT LCD display with HD+ resolution (1600 x 720 pixels). This display includes eye protection and natural light viewing modes to minimize eye strain during prolonged use. The phone has a slim design with a thickness of 7.89mm and weighs approximately 186 grams.
For performance, the Honor Play 60A is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. It is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15.
In the camera department, the phone features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing selfie camera. Both cameras support 1080p video recording. In terms of battery, the Honor Play 60A features a large 5,300mAh battery that supports 15W charging. Connectivity and other features include 5G support, dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, face unlock, and stereo audio enhancement via Honor Sound.
