Vivo S50 and S50 Pro Mini Launched with 6500mAh Battery, 50MP Camera, and up to 16GB RAM: Check Price
Vivo has launched two new smartphones under its S series in China: the Vivo S50 and Vivo S50 Pro Mini. Both phones target the premium segment and feature an AMOLED display, the latest Snapdragon processor, a triple rear camera setup, and a large battery. While the Vivo S50 comes with a standard-sized display, the Pro Mini variant is offered in a more compact form factor.
The Vivo S50 is priced at CNY 2,999 in China for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 256GB variants are priced at CNY 3,299 and CNY 3,399 respectively, while the top variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage costs CNY 3,599.
The Vivo S50 Pro Mini starts at CNY 3,699 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The 12GB + 512GB model is available for CNY 3,999, while the top-end 16GB + 512GB variant is launched at CNY 4,299. Both phones will be available for sale in China through Vivo’s official online store.
In terms of specifications, the Vivo S50 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260×2750 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Vivo S50 Pro Mini, on the other hand, comes with a 6.31-inch AMOLED display with a 1216×2640 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both smartphones run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. In the battery section, both the Vivo S50 and S50 Pro Mini feature a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. However, according to the company, wireless charging is only available on the Pro Mini variant, which supports 40W wireless charging.
For performance, the Vivo S50 Pro Mini is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The standard Vivo S50, on the other hand, features the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor.
The camera setup is identical on both phones, featuring a 50MP primary Sony sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, and an ultrawide lens. A 50MP selfie camera is located on the front.
