Vivo, a major smartphone manufacturer, has launched a new smartphone. The Vivo Y31s 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. It features a 6.74-inch Full HD display. The device sports a dual rear camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel primary camera, while the front houses a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Its 6,500mAh BlueVolt battery supports 44W FlashCharge fast charging. The phone runs on OriginOS 6, based on Android 16.

Launched in Malaysia, the smartphone is available in a single variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at RM 1,499 (approximately ₹35,200). It comes in Purple and Black color options. Sales are currently underway in Malaysia through the company’s website and partner retailers.

The Vivo Y500 could also be launched in international markets soon; it was originally introduced in China last September.
