A Budget 5G Phone! HMD Launches Vibe 2 5G with a 6,000mAh Battery in India—Check Out the Price

HMD has officially launched its new budget 5G smartphone, the HMD Vibe 2 5G, in the Indian market. This smartphone comes packed with features such as a massive 6,000mAh battery, a 120Hz display, and Android 16. According to the company, the phone has been designed with a focus on long battery backup and robust everyday performance. The HMD Vibe 2 5G features a 50MP AI dual rear camera setup. Additionally, the phone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C port.

The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the HMD Vibe 2 5G is priced at approximately ₹10,999. Meanwhile, the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model has been launched at ₹11,999. The smartphone is available for purchase in Nordic Blue, Peach Pink, and Cosmic Lavender color options via HMD’s official website and Flipkart.

The HMD Vibe 2 5G sports a 6.75-inch HD+ V-Notch IPS display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone features a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. The smartphone’s design features a 2D screen profile, and it weighs 210 grams with a thickness of 8.6mm.

In terms of performance, the smartphone is powered by a Unisoc T8200 processor. The phone is available in 4GB and 6GB RAM options. Regarding storage, it offers support for 64GB and 128GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. According to the company, the phone runs on Android 16 and will receive security updates for up to two years. For photography, the HMD Vibe 2 5G features a 50MP AI dual rear camera setup accompanied by an LED flash. Meanwhile, for selfies and video calling, the phone is equipped with an 8MP front camera.
