Asus ROG Phone 6 series launched in India, will get powerful processor with 6000mAh battery.
Asus has launched the Asus ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro smartphones in India on Tuesday. Both these gaming smartphones are equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 SoC, these smartphones will get up to 18 GB of RAM. Asus ROG Phone 6 and Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro sport a 6.78-inch FullHD+ Samsung AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165Hz, HDR10+ support, and ROG’s exclusive tuning technology. Both the smartphones have a 6,000mAh battery and a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup.
Asus ROG Phone 6 Price
Asus ROG Phone 6’s 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant costs Rs 71,999 while Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro’s 18 GB RAM and 512 GB storage variant costs Rs 89,999. However, the company will announce the sale and availability later through the social media platform. Asus ROG Phone 6 has been introduced in two color Phantom Black and Storm White color options and Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro in Storm White color.
Asus ROG Phone 6 Specifications
The Asus ROG Phone 6 and Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro are powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 SoC, paired with Adreno 730 GPU. Asus ROG Phone 6 comes with 12 GB to 18 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Asus has given Game Cool 6 cooling system in both the smartphones. The company says that this is the biggest update of cooling since the introduction of the ROG Phone series. Asus claims that this improves performance by up to 10 degrees Celsius.
Asus ROG Phone 6 Camera
A 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup has been given in ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro. Its primary sensor comes with 50 megapixel Sony IMX766. It also has a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera. For selfie, this smartphone has a 12-megapixel front camera.
Asus ROG Phone 6 Battery
The Asus ROG Phone 6 and Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro pack a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support (30W charger in the box). For connectivity, the Asus ROG Phone 6 and Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro have 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC and two USB Type-C ports. Onboard sensors include GNSS GPS, Glonass, Galileo, Beidou, QZSS, NaviC, accelerometer, e-compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, in-display fingerprint sensor, gyroscope and ultrasonic sensor for Air Trigger 6 and grip press. These smartphones come with two 5-magnet 12×16 super linear speakers tuned by Dirac. Both the phones are IPX4 rated. The smartphone weighs 239 grams.
