Poco M3 is equipped with launch, big battery, three rear cameras and 4 GB RAM

Poco M3 has been launched by Xiaomi sub-brand. The smartphone has been in leaks and rumors for some time and finally the company has launched the phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset, triple rear camera setup and huge 6,000mAh battery. The Poco M3 Dot Drop (the company’s name for Waterdrop-style notch) comes with the design. Prior to Poco M3, Poco launched Poco M2 and Poco M2 Pro in the M-series. While the Poco M2 has received the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, the Poco M2 Pro includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset.

Poco M3 price

The 4GB + 64GB storage variant of the Poco M3 is priced at $149 (about Rs 11,000), while the 4GB + 128GB storage option comes with a price of $169 (about Rs 12,500). The phone comes in Cool Blue, Poco Yellow, and Power Black color options. It will be available for purchase from November 27.

Information about the India launch of Poco M3 has not been revealed yet.

Poco M3 specifications

Dual-SIM (Nano) Poco M3 runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10. It has a 6.53-inch full-HD + (1080×2340 pixels) display with 19.5: 9 aspect ratios and 90.34 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. The Poco M3 works on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM.

There is also a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video chats, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel camera on the front, which uses an f/2.05 lens.

Poco has offered 64 GB and 128 GB storage options in it, which can be expanded (up to 512 GB) via a dedicated microSD slot. Connectivity options on the Poco M3 include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well as an infrared (IR) blaster.
