Apple launches two new laptops: 20 hours of battery backup will be available in a single charge, price starts from Rs 1.2 lakh

Apple has launched two laptops, MacBook Air (2022) and MacBook Pro (2022), with its new M2 chip at the World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC). The company launched the first silicon chip M1 in 2020 and it is an upgraded version of the same. With this new chip, the CPU and GPU performance of the computer will be much faster. These new models of MacBook will be available in India from next month. The starting price of MacBook Air (2022) in India will be 1 lakh 20 thousand and MacBook Pro (2022) will be 1 lakh 30 thousand rupees.

MacBook Air (222) will be faster than before

Apple launched the first M1 silicon chip in 2020. Apple said that the M2 chipset will be more powerful than the M1 chip. MacBook Air (2022) will have 18% higher CPU performance and 35% higher GPU performance. The CPU of the M2 chip will be 1.9 times and the GPU 2.3 times faster than the M1 chip.

The MacBook Air (2022) will be equipped with a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display. Its display size has also been increased by reducing the bezel. The Apple MacBook Air (2022) will have up to 2TB of SSD storage and up to 24GB of RAM. The laptop will have a 1080P camera, whereas in its old version it was 720P. It has C-type fast charging and has been claimed by Apple for 18 hours of battery backup in a single charge.

MacBook Pro (2022) will get 20 hours of battery backup

Like the Apple MacBook Air, the MacBook Pro (2022) will also be equipped with the M2 chip. It also has up to 24GB of RAM and up to 2TB of storage. It also has a 13-inch Liquid Retina display. Apple has claimed that the MacBook Pro (2022) will give 20 hours of battery backup on a single charge.
