Redmi Smart Band 2: Redmi’s new fitness band launched, support for multiple trekking with 14 days battery.

Smartphone brand Realme (Redmi) has launched its new fitness band Redmi Band 2 globally. This band has been introduced in the domestic market in December 2022. Ultra-thin body and 1.47-inch display are available with the new band. The latest fitness tracker boasts of 14-day battery life and 5ATM rating. Redmi Smart Band 2 price

The new smartband has been introduced in six color options Ivory, Olive, Snazzy Green, Blue, Black and Pink. The Redmi Smart Band 2 is priced at JPY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 3,500) in Japan, but can be bought for JPY 4,490 (roughly Rs. 2,800) till February 6 as a launching offer. The company is yet to announce the availability of the fitness band in the Indian market.

Specification of Redmi Smart Band 2

The new Smart Band 2 from Redmi flaunts a 1.47-inch TFT touch display with (194×368 pixels) resolution, pixel density of 247 ppi, peak brightness of 450 nits and comes with a tempered glass cover with anti-fingerprint coating. . Always-on Display (AOD) is supported with the display. More than 100 preset watch faces have been supported with smartband. Also some watch faces can be customized. Users can also use their own photos for watch faces.

Talking about health features in Redmi Smart Band 2, it comes with optical PPG heart-rate sensor, SpO2 i.e. blood oxygen monitoring, sleep tracker, menstrual cycle tracker and stress monitor. Bluetooth v5.1 has been supported with the fitness tracker. Redmi Smart Band 2 can be easily connected with Android 6.0 and above and iOS 12 and above. Users will have to use the Mi Fitness app with the fitness band. The band comes with a 5ATM (50 meters) rating for water resistance.

Redmi Smart Band 2 has support for accelerometer and more than 30 sports modes like outdoor running, yoga and hiking. Talking about the battery of the smart band, the company has claimed a backup of 14 days with it. With this, 210 mAh battery is available. The weight of the band is only 14.9 grams.
