Lenovo introduced transparent ThinkBook laptop concept at MWC
Lenovo, one of the big companies manufacturing personal computers and laptops, has presented the prototype of a laptop with transparent screen at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event held in Barcelona, Spain. The company’s ThinkBook Transparent Display laptop concept has a 17.3-inch Micro LED transparent display. Apart from this concept laptop, the company has also introduced ThinkPad and ThinkBook business laptops.
The company said that the ThinkBook Transparent Display Laptop Concept is the first laptop with a 17.3-inch micro-LED transparent display. The brightness of its screen is 1,000 nits. It has a transparent keyboard area which uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the task. On this laptop, users will be able to switch between keyboard and drawing board with a supported pen. Lenovo has said that this laptop is a ‘proof of concept’. There is little possibility of it being available for sale soon.
Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 and ThinkPad T14s Gen 5 have been made available in Luna Gray and Eclipse Black colors. ThinkPad T16 Gen 3 and ThinkPad X12 Detachable Gen 2 can be purchased in Eclipse Black color. The Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 and ThinkPad T16 Gen 3 come with up to 64 GB DDR5 RAM and up to 2 TB SSD storage. These run on Windows 11 Pro. These have Intel’s Ultra Core processors and Intel vPro and Intel Arc graphics. The ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 laptop is also available with an AMD Ryzen 8040 CPU.
The company’s ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 features a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The ThinkPad T16 Gen 3 features a 16-inch OLED display with 4K resolution. These laptops are provided with 5 megapixel camera along with dual speakers and dual microphones. The ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 has a 52.5 Whr battery and the ThinkPad T16 Gen 3 has a 86 Whr battery. Both these laptops have a fingerprint scanner on the keyboard for security. The size of Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 is 315.9 x 223.7 x 17.7 mm and weight is approximately 1.30 kg and the size of ThinkPad T16 Gen 3 is 359.7 x 251.7 x 23.5 mm and weight is approximately 1.63 kg
