International launch of Honor Magic 6, Magic V2 series at MWC

Chinese smartphone maker Honor has launched the Honor Magic 6 series and Magic V2 series internationally at the Mobile World Congress (MWC). Magic 6 series smartphones run on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14. In these, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC has been given as processor and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC has been given in Honor Magic V2 foldable smartphones.

The price of the 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage variant of the company’s Magic 6 Pro is 1,299 Euro (approximately Rs 1,16,600). Pre-order for this has started from 25th February and it will be sold from 1st March. The price of 16 GB + 1 TB variant of Honor Magic V2 RSR is 2,699 Euro (Rs 2,42,000). Booking of this smartphone has started from 25th February and it will be sold from 18th March. When unfolded, this foldable smartphone has a 7.92-inch flexible OLED screen with a resolution of 2,344 × 2.156 pixels. When folded, it has a 6.43 inch OLED display.

Honor introduced the Magic 6 series and Magic V2 RSR in China early last month. These have LTPO OLED display and triple rear camera unit. Honor Magic 6 Pro has a 180-megapixel periscope sensor and Magic 6 has a 50-megapixel primary camera. Honor Magic 6 has a 5,450 mAh battery and Magic 6 Pro has a 5,600 mAh battery.

Recently Honor launched X50i+. It is part of the company’s X50i series. It has MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC as its processor. Its 4,500 mAh battery supports 35 W fast charging. It has a 108 megapixel primary camera. It has been made available in two storage variants and four colors. This smartphone was launched in China. The price of 12 GB + 256 GB variant of Honor It is available in Cloud Water Blue, Ink Jade Green, Liquid Pink and Fantasy Night Black colors.
