Vivo launches Y200+, dual camera unit, 6.68 inch display

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched Y200+. This smartphone has a 6.68 inch LCD display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness level of 1,000 nits. It has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 as a processor. Y200+ has been brought to China.

This smartphone has up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. Its dual camera setup has a 50-megapixel ultra-clear primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. It has a 5-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls. There is also an option to increase its memory. This smartphone runs on Funtouch OS. It also has features related to artificial intelligence (AI).

The 6,000 mAh battery of Y200+ supports 44 W fast charging. Its battery can be charged up to 50 percent in just 36 minutes. It has dual speakers. Recently, the company launched the X200 series. This smartphone series includes X200, X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini. These smartphones have MediaTek Dimensity 9400 as the processor. The X200 has a 6.67-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness level of 4,500 nits. The X200 Pro has a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a variable refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness level of 4,500 nits. Vivo has limited the X200 Pro Mini of this series to China.

These smartphones have Zeiss branded camera. They run on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. Vivo X200 has a 5,800 mAh battery and X200 Pro has a 6,000 mAh battery. The company can also bring X200 Ultra in this series. Snapdragon 8 Elite can be given as a processor in this smartphone. Vivo is also speculated to bring X200S. Recently, tipster Digital Chat Station had said in a post on China’s messaging platform Weibo that this smartphone can have Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset. This tipster has said that X200S can have LTPS OLED screen with 1.5K resolution.
