Lenovo Launches Legion Y700 Gen 5 Gaming Tablet with 9,000mAh Battery: Price and Features
Chinese device manufacturer Lenovo has launched the Legion Y700 Gen 5 gaming tablet. It features an 8.8-inch display. Powering this tablet is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. This device is designed for users seeking a compact gaming device that delivers superior performance.

Launched in China, the variant of this tablet with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately ₹54,000). The 16 GB + 512 GB variant is priced at CNY 4,799 (approximately ₹64,800), while the 24 GB + 1 TB variant costs CNY 5,999 (approximately ₹81,000). The tablet is currently being sold in China exclusively through Lenovo’s e-store. It is available in two color options: White and Black.

The display has received TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission and flicker-free viewing. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The device runs on an operating system based on Android 16. The tablet’s storage can be expanded up to 2 TB using a TF card. Additionally, the Lenovo Legion Y700 Gen 5 incorporates several Artificial Intelligence (AI)-related features. For connectivity, it offers options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and dual USB Type-C ports. This tablet features a 17,353 sq mm liquid-cooled vapor chamber for thermal management. The Lenovo Legion Y700 Gen 5 is equipped with a 50-megapixel rear camera, while the front features an 8-megapixel camera. It sports dual horizontal super-linear speakers with support for Dolby Atmos. The tablet houses a 9,000 mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging. Lenovo claims that it can deliver over 18 hours of video playback and more than 10 hours of gaming. To mitigate heat during gaming sessions, it also supports battery charging management.
