Redmi Pad 2 9.7 Launched in International Markets with a 7,600mAh Battery: Price and Specifications

Chinese device manufacturer Redmi has launched its new tablet in select international markets. The Redmi Pad 2 9.7 is powered by a Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 processor. The tablet features an 8-megapixel camera on the rear. The Redmi Pad 2 9.7 is equipped with a 7,600mAh battery. Additionally, the tablet features a dual-speaker setup.

In Malaysia, the variant of this tablet with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is priced at MYR 549 (approximately ₹13,100), while the 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at MYR 599 (approximately ₹14,400). With 4G connectivity, the prices for these two Redmi Pad 2 9.7 variants are MYR 649 (approximately ₹15,600) and MYR 699 (approximately ₹16,800), respectively. The tablet is available in two color options: Silver and Graphite Grey.

The tablet features a 9.7-inch display (2,048 x 1,280 pixels) with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz, a pixel density of 250 ppi, and a brightness level of 500 nits. Its display has received TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Circadian Friendly certifications. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 chipset paired with an Adreno 610 GPU. The tablet’s storage can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card. The Redmi Pad 2 9.7 features an 8-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture. On the front, it is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera. It is capable of recording videos at up to 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second (fps).

For connectivity, it offers options such as 4G LTE, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The tablet includes an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, and a Hall sensor. It features a dual-speaker setup. The tablet measures 226.51 x 147.97 x 7.4 mm and weighs approximately 406 grams.
